when teresa emailed me about taking photographs, i swear she said photos WITH her husband for their anniversary, and not FOR. but that’s just the ridiculousness of my brain sometimes. so imagine my utter delight in finding such a cute thing waiting for me at the train station, and a fantastic few hours spent mucking around in the marsh out on long island.
we were heckled and cat-called by the local randoms out on their boats (and when i say we, i obviously mean her), and managed to dodge the abundance of geese doodoo being dropped all around us. all in all, a fantastic afternoon.
i think her hubby is in for a little treat…

kelly and erik met on the photography networking site flickr. all of us that “knew” them sort of KNEW that they’d end up together… mostly because they’re both amazing people, and erik is a smart guy… he knows what a FOX that kelly lady is. 
they both live up in marblehead, mass and came down to the city for some r&r and a little engagement session. the wedding is next month on the beach in carmel… and should the heavens align, i’ll be there to document the amazing event.
and with that… it’s GO time!

i love working with silly people. and i love challenges. and when silly people hire me and say things like “we are super nervous about having our pictures taken” or “not big on PDA” etc… i get excited about taking their pictures. mostly because i know that i am going to get to act completely idiotic in order to bring them out and make sure that they have a good time shooting.
meet chris and jin. they’ve been together for almost seven years and are tying the knot next month on the jersey shore. they both work in healthcare at mt. sinai, she loves the movie “love actually”, and he likes embarrassing himself in public. my kind of couple. and away we go…
(i think stop motion photo taking might be my new thing… since now i’m being asked for it every time… okay by me, yo!)
