jeanette and i are past coworkers turned friends, and before she and her wonderful fiance jj head over to the west coast for their new life together, they asked me to take some engagement photos for them. i was beyond honored and happy to oblige them. as a true farewell to the city, we hit up all their favorite haunts, made the most of the urban backdrop, and had a darn good time doing it. and… i made them kiss everywhere we went!!

Like you have deep deep pockets full of ideas and inspiration... Just bottomless pockets of awesome. And then... and then... you slam dunk the stop motion train arriving kissing perfection right in there at the end. BAM! When I grow up, I want to be you!

September 4, 2009 - 2:41 pm Kelly - Tara, These shots are so fantastic!! My favorite is the one of them kissing under the "Superior" sign. They must be so thrilled with this set. I know I had seen pictures of Jeanette on your stream before, but I had no idea it was the same person in this set! You have such a knack for stylizing (is that the right word?) your shots and your subjects. Amazing.
